FSP - Clinical Team Lead - Ophthalmology - US

Fortrea seeks an experienced Ophthalmology Clinical Team Lead to manage clinical delivery of research trials in a remote US position. The role requires overseeing clinical and site management, driving project performance, and leading cross-functional teams while ensuring adherence to regulatory and budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical project performance and delivery toward contracted deliverables
• Lead development of clinical project strategy with stakeholders and manage scope, timelines, quality, and budget
• Oversee recruitment, retention, vendor delivery, and monitoring visit strategy
• Identify and manage clinical, financial, and quality risks using established governance pathways
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance feedback to clinical project team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life science or certification in allied health profession
• 5+ years clinical research and monitoring experience
• 3+ years leading project teams through full study lifecycle
• Experience overseeing external vendors and managing matrix/virtual environments
• Working knowledge of ICH Guidelines, GCP, and international regulatory requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Strong financial tracking and budget management capabilities

Compensation: $135,000-$147,000 USD annually
