Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist Specialty Respiratory Therapist Registered located in an organizations healthcare setting. This role involves performing and documenting evaluations and patient assessments, providing both diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, and offering appropriate education to patients and their families. The therapist is responsible for identifying significant changes in patient conditions, communicating pertinent information to caregivers, and ensuring proper documentation throughout all procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Respiratory Therapist from the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Education requirements verified by prior certification; Location and experience: 0 years minimum experience required, with at least 1 year preferred
• Additional Information: Provides high quality critical care in accordance with established patient care guidelines. Responsibilities include performing pain assessments, disassembling and maintaining respiratory equipment, transporting infants to referral health systems, and documenting all patient interactions and procedures in the electronic medical record. Processes patient charges and verifies reports as needed. Prior to start, certification from relevant certifying bodies must be completed.
