As a Van Delivery Driver you will be responsible for courteous, on‑time, and accurate deliveries with a variable daily route, operating the van professionally and safely, and assisting with store operations before or after routes. Typical Day Delivery Accurately locate and pick orders in store for wholesale customers Build and maintain good customer relationships Ensure timely deliveries of GFS products Perform daily pre‑post‑trip inspection of vehicle and equipment In Store Process customer purchases efficiently through the point of sale Maintain security of assets including cash, checks, and merchandise Accurately receive and merchandise products, ensuring proper rotation, quality, end‑cap and planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler and backroom organization Requirements At least one year of delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred Unrestricted Standard Operators License Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in last five years) Minimum age 18 Must pass pre‑employment checks, including drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR Must be able to operate a two‑wheel cart with load up to 350 pounds Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs Equality Statement Equal Employment Opportunity is a matter of policy at Gordon Food Service, Inc. and we are committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
