What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you'll become an important part of someone's daily life by providing personalized support at home and in the community. Your day might include: Encouraging independence through everyday activities Assisting with life skills, routines, and personal care when needed Taking individuals into the community for shopping, recreation, or appointments Helping achieve personal goals and celebrate milestones Building trusting relationships with individuals and their families Documenting services using our simple mobile app Every shift is different because every individual has unique goals and abilities.
