Maintenance Technician

Nesco Resource is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as supporting production equipment and facility operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience looking to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

$19.00 $26.00/Hour

Monday Thursday | 3:15 PM 1:45 AM On-call every 4th weekend

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems

Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment issues

Perform equipment disassembly, repair, and reassembly

Support production equipment setup and operation

Assist operators with troubleshooting and equipment issues

Perform facility maintenance including light electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance

Assist engineering with installation, testing, and validation of equipment

Build fixtures and machine attachments as needed

Operate equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and snow removal equipment

Maintain safe and compliant work practices

High School Diploma or GED required

35 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems

Manufacturing experience preferred (flexible packaging a plus)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience

Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment

Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools

PPE required including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes

Exposure to hot/humid conditions at times
