TSC is seeking a Temporary Electronics Technician II located in Huntsville, AL to support our production division. Responsibilities: Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving testing, analysis, and evaluation of materials and processes. Provide technical support to engineers on various technical tasks. Analyze technical data to determine applicability to design problems, select design layouts, calculate data, and prepare layouts, specifications, parts lists, estimates, and procedures. Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics). Required Qualifications: Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and/or 3-5 years of production and/or assembly experience. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment such as crimpers, dies, multimeters, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc. Ability to assemble, test, rework, and repair according to IPC Standards. Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers, and peer engineers.
