Compounding Pharmacy TechnicianOur Compounding Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include preparing sterile compounds according to work instructions in an aseptic, clean room environment. Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.What the Compounding Pharmacy Technician Does Each Day:Compound sterile preparations accurately according to detailed instructionsClean work area and cleanroom (typically wiping down surfaces with aseptic wipe and occasional mopping)Keep accurate documentation for accountability and traceability of product following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)Comply with cGMPs and company International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards upon key steps in the workOur Most Successful Compounding Pharmacy Technicians:Have a strong attention to detail and carefully follows compounding protocols and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the jobAre proactive and demonstrate initiative when appropriate; uses their time wiselyHave a passion for connecting their work to a greater purposeMinimum Requirements for this Role:A High School diploma or equivalentAble to successfully complete a drug and background checkAble and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation18+ years of ageAble and willing to follow "garb and gown" requirements from head to toe in order to maintain a sterile, clean room environment.
