Scale Attendant

Job Overview Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a Scale Attendant to manage/handle linen at one of our prestigious client locations in New Haven, CT. Schedule 4 days per week, Thursday - Sunday. 7:00am-6:00pm. Must have weekend availability. Compensation $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors. Duties and Responsibilities Collection and distribution of linen Counting, recording, and inventorying merchandise Preparing and organizing pack-out carts/baskets for distribution Weigh incoming and outgoing carts/baskets Building carts and baskets as needed Required Skills MUST have flexibility to work various hours (mornings, evenings, weekends) totaling 40 hours per week Must be able to lift loads of linen and push carts filled with linen (50+lbs) Responsive in a fast-paced environment Detail oriented and ability to multi-task Superior communication/customer relations skills Ability to work well in a team environment Experience in a service/operations environment a + Benefits Unitex offers a competitive compensation package including health insurance, paid vacation, sick days, and PTO time etc. Additional Information Visit our website at to learn more about our company.
