Job Title:.Net DeveloperACCIS is a large ecosystem that supports NYC subsidized childcare for low-income & cash assistance recipients. The ACCIS database contains in excess of 880,000, children 450,000 cases, 20,000 program providers. ACCIS ecosystem comprises of PowerBuilder, Informix,.Net, Angular most recent versions as required by OTI Cyber policy.Responsibilities:Develop system design specifications.Develops and prepares documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches.Develops specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software configurations.Develops structured diagrams for the specifications of databases, communication systems, computer or storage area networks, security or network programs.Develops, compiles, maintains and documents configurations of the following: databases, servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, macros, utilities, and communication systems. Managing, prioritizing, and resolving IT project requests in a timely manner and escalating issues appropriately.Develop system documentation.Develop operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software.Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security and client server systems.Develops detailed systems operations designs.Perform System Design Development Logic Algorithms.Developing clean, efficient, and documented logic algorithms, implementing user Interfaces, building APIs in the system.Assisting with deployment and maintenance – interacting with various teams for deployments and maintenance.Tracking performance and managing changing in the system.Work with staff (e.g, managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan programmatic logic implementations via application programming interfaces (APIs) to implement business logic enhancements and changes.Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms.Provide assistance to technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves.Occasionally contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem.Provide general programming assistance to other programmers/projects as may be needed.Perform Testing/Evaluation.Tests programs and systems and integrates system modules.Develops, implements, and monitors information technology quality assurance standards.Develop Test Scripts.Required Skills:Designing web services-based applications using visual Studio dot Net/Angular/BootstrapDesigning document management systemsDesigning Active Directory based securityDesigning telecommunications systemsDesigning workflow systemsDesigning payroll management systemsDesigning 3 tiered applicationsAnalyze results, identify functional and performance issues and write clear and detailed bug reportsAbility to interact with business stakeholders, system integrators and external support providers for collecting/analyzing requirements.Ability to work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
