Assistant Operations Manager

Location: US-KY-LEXINGTON Responsibilities Basic Function – Assist in the day-to-day management of the assigned location, ensuring parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines, fostering client relations and maintaining a professional image. Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction. Assist in developing property-level financial and operational goals. Manage day-to-day activities of the assigned locations: customer interaction, supervising evening closing reports, processing bank deposits, scheduling staff, supervising frontline staff, preparing month-end reports, auditing cashier shift reports, monitoring time cards, hiring and training staff, reviewing damage claims, disbursing petty cash, and preparing the annual budget. Assist customers by answering questions and providing courteous service. Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager. Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager. Assist with cleanup of debris, water or oil spills, and similar issues. Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas and local major streets, landmarks, and freeways. Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed. Qualifications Education/Experience: High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred. Availability to Work: Special shift requirements may vary by location; may require 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends. License: Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record. Oral Communication: Clear speech; ability to listen and seek clarification; respond well to questions. Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; can read and interpret written information. Customer Service: Strong customer orientation and positive attitude; able to respond to requests professionally. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and handle delays or unexpected events. Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Physical Demands: Regularly stand and walk; handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit and climb or balance; may lift/move up to 25 pounds. Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
