• Setting: Hospital ICU APP / Critical Care
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule Pattern: 7 on / 7 off
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,980 - $4,270
• Census: Average daily census of 12-16
• EMR: Cerner

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU Nurse Practitioner experience
• Board certification required
• Active state license required, or eligibility through IMLC
• DEA registration required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with central lines and arterial lines preferred, but not required
• Must be comfortable working full time within the assigned schedule
• Familiarity with Cerner is preferred

• Manage admissions and consults for critical care patients in the ICU
• Provide high-quality inpatient critical care and advanced clinical support
• Work collaboratively with the backup physician, who is available on call
• Support patient care in a unit with in-house anesthesia available
• Assess, evaluate, and stabilize patients as needed within the ICU workflow
• Contribute to efficient, team-based care in a busy hospital-based critical care environment
• Use strong clinical judgment to support safe and effective patient outcomes
