About the Role Join Wellness Health Services as a Physical Therapist, where you'll play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal health and mobility. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote recovery and mobility. Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and self‑care strategies. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment for patients. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in physical therapy practices. Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Washington, DC. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of current physical therapy practices and techniques. Compassionate demeanor with a passion for patient care and rehabilitation. Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
