SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE WORKER Position: Substitute Food Service Worker (prn/on-call with no regularly scheduled hours) Location: Countryside Academy, Benton Harbor, Michigan Beginning Date: April 1, 2025, until the substitute position list is full Responsibilities Reports to the Food Service Director, Nutrition Coordinator, and Operations Coordinator. This position is an on-call position and does not have regularly scheduled hours. Attend paid orientation and training hours. Will perform basic tasks in the preparation, dishwashing, and serving of school meals. Maintain food service facilities and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition, and perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Compliance with all MDE, USDA, and Health Department, and District policies and school regulations. Engage with the Countryside students, staff, parents, and board members in a positive and professional manner at all times. Potential Hours: 7:00-2:00 Breakfast & Lunch 10:00-2:00 Lunch Hours Qualifications Some experience in quantity food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance is preferred.
