Call Center Representative

Customer Service Specialist

WAC Lighting is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to add to our sales support team in our global headquarters in Port Washington, New York. In this role, you will be an integral part of supporting our clients by providing excellent customer service through phone calls, live chats and technical support.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming customer, live chats, and sales e-mails inquires in an accurate, efficient and courteous manner.
• Work in a team environment to exceed client expectations.
• Act as a customer liaison by providing exceptional professional level customer service.
• Manage and resolve general customer service issues.
• Handle technical troubleshooting for lighting products - Training provided.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and assignments through completion.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Manage the integrity and accuracy of the database.

Critical Success Factors:

• Ability to hit monthly goals such as call, live chat and working rate targets
• Ability to work as a team player to hit team goals such as drop call targets
• Ability to take self-guided product trainings in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working directly with customers, preferably in a call center environment.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks/demands and get results.
• Strong organization and attention to detail skills a must.
• Strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications - SAP a big plus
