License/Certs: MD/DO, BC in Radiation Oncology, BLS required

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiation Oncology

What You'll Do

  • Provide expert radiation oncology consultation and treatment planning for adult/geriatric patients
  • Conduct new patient assessments and follow-up care
  • Perform procedures including CT simulation, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, and electron beam therapy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation therapists, physicists, nursing staff, and dosimetrists
  • Support tumor response evaluation, toxicity assessment, and supportive care management
  • Review imaging and participate in treatment decision-making based on patient needs

What You Need

  • MD or DO, BC in Radiation Oncology
  • BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of radiation oncology experience
  • Valid license or eligible via IMLC
  • Ability to work independently within a hospital-based environment

About the Assignment This assignment is with a hospital-based department supporting adult and geriatric patients. The team manages a broad spectrum of case types, including breast, prostate, CNS, head and neck, lung, GI/GU, skin, palliative/emergent cases, spinal cord compression, brain metastases, and SVC syndrome. Procedures include advanced planning and targeting techniques to deliver precise radiation therapy, with a focus on quality and safety.
