Role Summary:
The Data Architect / Solution Design Lead is responsible for leading target-state data architecture, canonical and semantic design, and implementation-ready solution specifications. This role serves as a key design authority, driving day-to-day solutioning and client working sessions to ensure continuity across discovery, architecture, and implementation.

Role Summary:
The Data Architect / Solution Design Lead is responsible for leading target-state data architecture, canonical and semantic design, and implementation-ready solution specifications. This role serves as a key design authority, driving day-to-day solutioning and client working sessions to ensure continuity across discovery, architecture, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead target-state data architecture and detailed solution design for in-scope domains.
- Translate business requirements and BA inputs into implementation-ready data and semantic designs.
- Define and document canonical structures, semantic models, and mapping frameworks.
- Drive design decisions for facts, dimensions, measures, hierarchies, and reporting-ready entities.
- Facilitate design working sessions with client stakeholders, SMEs, and technical counterparts.
- Partner with Business Analysts to translate payment rules and mapping logic into structured designs.
- Review source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and traceability artifacts.
- Provide day-to-day architecture leadership and support implementation planning.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Analytics Architecture, or Solution Design.
- Strong experience in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical) and Canonical Data Design.
- Expertise in Semantic-Layer Design and Source-to-Target Mapping.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake Design and Architecture.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into target-state architecture.
- Cloud Data Platform experience (Snowflake and/or Databricks).
- Experience in Requirement Translation and Design Governance.
- Experience in Payments, Financial Services, or Transaction-heavy domains .
- Familiarity with KPI / metric design and semantic consumption models .
- Experience acting as a Lead Architect owning day-to-day solution design for large-scale programs.
