Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate the clients’ substance abuse history and mental health, tailoring each intake to the individual’s unique circumstances.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address addiction issues while also considering co-occurring disorders, fostering an approach to care that treats the whole person.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to effectively engage clients in their recovery processes.

• Collaborate with fellow treatment team members – including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers – to ensure clients receive integrated, coordinated care.

• Educate and support family members, helping them understand their loved one’s experiences and enhancing family involvement in the recovery process through family therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and sessions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facilitating continuity of care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, often facing accompanying mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to substance abuse treatment and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a substance abuse treatment setting, with a proven track record of working effectively with individuals facing addiction.

• Specialized training in addiction counseling, such as certifications in CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
