- Deliver coordinated nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards of care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Monitor patient status, including hemodynamics and ventilator management; respond to deteriorating conditions
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; document accurately and timely
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and high-quality outcomes; educate patients and families as appropriate Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligibility)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience (12+ months preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity setting
