"Specialty Certifications: Both accrediting bodies are acceptable: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or Certification in Sonography by the American Association of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) usually RVT (Registered Vascular Tech)

RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer): Certification through ARDMS - Required

VS (Vascular Sonographer) -Certification through ARDMS (RVT/VT) - Required

OB (Obstetric ) Certification through ARDMS (OB/GYN) - Required
