Chemistry Technician II

Chemistry Technician IIWaters-ERA is currently leading a search for a Chemistry Technician II who is primarily responsible for product manufacturing, packaging, labeling, assembling, and inventory control for Waters ASR & ERA products. The Chemistry Technician I will work closely with the manufacturing supervisors, Quality, and EH&S to ensure the highest level of product quality and value are provided to Waters-ERA customers.The successful candidate will be a passionate and agile, who strives to deliver superior value to our internal and external customers every day. This hands-on position requires excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking as well as a compelling initiative to see the organization succeed.ResponsibilitiesProduction/Manufacturing of chemical solutions to specificationsGeneration and review of production and customer facing documentation.Assist other departments as needed including packaging/labeling and shipping.Proficient in bench top analyticalParticipating in process improvements and executing validations.Assisting with updating SOPs, documenting non-conforming product (NCRs), completing OJTs/training.Ensure that all products and data meet Quality Assurance requirements.Support a physically and mentally safe environment for all employees and coworkers.List of instrumentation (including but not limited to): ISE-Probes, titrations, Hg analyzer, IC, LC & GCQualifications• Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Years Experience (upon hire): 2-5 years environmental laboratory related work experience, analytical testing, or similar experience preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required; Experience with SAP and/or Great Plains preferred but not required. Contribute towards driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and implement corrective actions.
