Underground Utility Locator

Overview Vannguard Utility Partners Inc. is hiring Underground Utility Locators to work outdoors across multiple locations. The position offers competitive wages of $22.75 per hour with a range of health and retirement benefits. Responsibilities and Duties Drive a company vehicle to job sites for routine tickets, emergencies, and relocations. Use mapping tools, locating equipment, and utility data to identify underground utilities, including electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines. Mark utility locations with paint or flags and provide relevant information to excavation crews and authorities. Respond to after‑hour emergency call‑outs according to the established rotation schedule. Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times a day. Stand and walk long distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather conditions. Sit for extended periods while driving. Lift or move 50 to 150 pounds. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Work Location Multiple locations across the region. Job Type and Schedule Full‑time, 10‑hour shifts Monday to Friday, on‑call duties, and overtime as needed.
