Job Family: Manufacturing & Operations Job Overview Dedicated industrial maintenance technician role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime. Responsible for resolving daily electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting the Production Department to manufacture safe, quality products. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair production equipment to minimize downtime. Resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on a daily basis. Perform scheduled routine preventive maintenance. Use drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts, and written or verbal instructions to carry out tasks. Support the production department in manufacturing safe, quality products. Utilize PLC troubleshooting experience to diagnose and correct control system issues. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment. Availability to work weekends, overtime, and flexible shifts. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Minimum 3–5 years of applicable work experience as a multi‑skilled industrial maintenance technician. PLC troubleshooting experience required. Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of brake system components and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Motivated, self‑starter with the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. Key Competencies Technical Understanding of Brake Systems Cross‑Functional Communication Analytical & Problem‑Solving Skills Technical Documentation & Requirements Translation Education Associate’s degree in industrial electricity, power and controls, or mechanical engineering preferred. Previous Experience Preferred experience in manufacturing. Supervisor Responsibilities None. Physical Requirements Regularly stand and walk for extended periods while working in a manufacturing environment. Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication. Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items such as documents, sample parts, or small tools (up to 50 lbs.). Work safely in environments that may include noise, temperature variation, moving equipment, and industrial materials. Ability to effectively communicate in Business English. Work environment: shop floor manufacturing setting. Personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hat, and steel‑toe shoes required in designated areas.
