PCU/IMC/Stepdown RN in Kansas City, Missouri

Job Description

Take on a 13-week travel contract as a PCU Registered Nurse in Kansas City, Missouri. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts caring for progressive-care patients with pulmonary, cardiac, neurological, renal, wound, and urological diagnoses. This assignment includes telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, central and peripheral line management, blood product administration, wound care, chest tubes, non-invasive airway management, and medication protocols such as heparin and IV insulin. Regular floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required within your scope, and holiday, charge RN, and weekend assignments may be scheduled as needed. BLS and NIHSS certifications are required, along with at least two years of experience. This is a great fit for a seasoned night-owl RN ready to bring progressive-care expertise to a travel assignment.
