Job Title: Senior Maintenance Supervisor Job Description: The Role Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor/ Planner to join our Engineering& Maintenance team. This position will be based in our Aurora, Illinois facility.This combined roleis responsible forboth the direct supervision of maintenance technicians and electricians across all shifts and the end-to-end planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities within the 845 Slurry production area. In this role, you will ensure that the right people, parts, and plans are in place before every maintenance window — minimizing unplanned downtime and maximizing wrench time. You will own the site’s maintenance results as measured by key performance indicators while fostering a culture of safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence. The position reports to the Sr. Maintenance Manager andoperateswithina state-of-the-artfacility that runs three shifts, five days a week. The Senior Supervisor / Planner also serves asbackupto the Senior Maintenance Manager during planned time off, ensuring seamless operations and team leadership continuity. WhatYou’llDo Team Leadership & Supervision Directly supervise maintenance technicians and electricians across all shifts; ensureappropriate staffinglevels aremaintainedto effectivelysupport operations at all times. Hire, onboard, and train new maintenance technicians; manage payroll, punch times, and time-off requests to ensure compliance with department attendance policies. Provide technical guidance and coaching to the maintenance team; drive cascading goal setting, performance feedback, and individual development planning. Serve asbackupto the Maintenance Manager during PTO, assuming responsibility for broader maintenance operations and team leadership. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Develop and publish a rolling weekly and monthly maintenance schedule encompassing all preventive maintenance (PM), corrective work orders, and project-related activities — balancing production needs with maintenance resource availability. Manage the work order backlog: review, prioritize, and assign work orders;monitoraging; ensure work is completed within targettimeframesand elevate overdue items as needed. Coordinate parts kitting and pre-staging — confirm all materials, tools, and documentation are ready before scheduled maintenance windows to maximizetechnicianwrench time. Coordinate required downtime windows with production, operations, and quality teams to align planned maintenance activities with production schedules and minimize impact to output. Maintenance Program Ownership Utilize SAP-PM,Parsable, and Reliance ETQ to create,modify, implement, and oversee the preventive maintenance structure and programs for all production equipment. Own the site’s maintenance performance results as measured by KPIs including PM completion rate, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), spare parts inventory levels, and budget control. Use Ariba topurchaseparts and services; manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contractor safety requirements and company policies. Drive maintenance-level continuous improvement projects focused on safety, 5S, ergonomics, sustainability, and process efficiency. EHS & Compliance Adhere to and enforce all Entegris and site EH&S guidelines, policies, procedures, and permitting requirements; champion the safety culture within the maintenance team. Maintain strong housekeeping standards, a safe and orderly work environment, and compliance with ISO and quality standards across all maintenance activities. Support or lead EHS teams and safety improvement initiatives as needed. WhatWeSeek Education & Experience Bachelor’sdegree isrequired.Bachelor’sdegree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, ora relatedengineering fieldis a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical or specialty materials industry. Technical Skills Strongproficiencyin maintenance management systems, specifically SAP-PM and Ariba; experiencewith Reliance ETQ is a plus. Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, including work order management, job plan development, and backlog management. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity withmaintenanc K pi reporting and data-driven decision-making. Core Competencies Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team across multiple shifts. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to maketimely, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills; capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, safety, and engineering. Flexible and adaptable to variable schedule changes; ability to respond to off-shift operational needs asrequired. Additional Requirements Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing contextrequired. Six Sigmaexperience isa plus.
