Saw Operator- Night Shift- Contract to Hire Saw Operator Shift: Night Shift (4:30PM-4:30 AM, Sunday PM- Friday AM) We’re seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Saw Operator to support production by accurately cutting steel materials to specification. This role works closely with fabrication teams to ensure materials are prepared correctly and efficiently. What You’ll Do Operate band saws and cutting equipment to cut metal stock to specified dimensions Measure, mark, and verify material lengths and quantities Stage and organize cut materials for welding and fabrication teams Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns Load and unload materials using forklifts or overhead cranes (as trained) Follow production schedules, work orders, and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area What You Bring Strong attention to detail and accuracy Commitment to safety and quality Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong dependability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Education & Experience Required: High school diploma or GED; ability to lift and handle materials throughout the shift; authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred: Experience operating band saws or metal cutting equipment; forklift experience; manufacturing or fabrication experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
