IT Cyber Security Specialist (Infosec)

You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE (N3) at NAVY CYBER DEFENSE OPERATIONS COMMAND (NCDOC).

You will manage and maintain Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) mission requirements for defense of all Navy networks and across all Navy commands.

You develop and manage processes and procedures to identify, analyze, isolate, eradicate and report advanced cyber threats.

You will develop defensive tactics, invest in capabilities to counter threats, and oversee technological integration of new capabilities.

You will provide expert analysis of internal analyst actions to identify capability and procedural shortfalls.

You will perform countermeasure development using information gathered from a variety of sources.

You will recommend modifications and adjustments of the security architecture based on the system environment.

You will provide subject matter expertise in advanced network and endpoint attack analysis, execution of network defensive operations and adversarial attack processes.

You will coordinate with cyber defense staff and analysts to validate tasks and capabilities to ensure that tools and equipment meet needs.
