• CDL-A Oilfield Chemical Delivery Driver
• CDL-A Yard Spotter

BKT Trucking is hiring experienced CDL-A tanker drivers for two full-time positions in the Cambridge, Ohio region.

Applicants may apply for the delivery driver position, the yard spotter position, or either opportunity.

Position 1: CDL-A Oilfield Chemical Delivery Driver

Pay: 26%–30% of truck gross revenue
Estimated Annual Earnings: $100,000–$130,000
Schedule: Oilfield rotation
Job Type: Full-time

The delivery driver is responsible for transporting and delivering frac chemicals to customer well sites and other oilfield locations throughout the region.

This is an on-call oilfield position. Drivers must be comfortable working variable hours, traveling on lease roads, operating around active frac sites, and safely loading and unloading tanker equipment.

Delivery Driver Pay Scale

• 26% of truck gross revenue during the first 120 days
• 28% from day 121 through the first year of employment
• After one year, pay may be reviewed and increased up to 30% based on work performance

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver frac chemicals to customer well-site locations
• Safely load and unload tanker equipment
• Operate on lease roads and around active oilfield and frac sites
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and equipment records
• Communicate with dispatch and customer site personnel
• Report maintenance or equipment concerns promptly
• Properly care for and maintain assigned equipment
• Follow all company, customer, DOT, and site-specific safety procedures

Delivery Driver Schedule and Home Time

This is an on-call, 24/7 oilfield position. Hours and workload vary based on customer demand while remaining within applicable hours-of-service regulations.

Once a driver is hired, trained, and placed into the rotation, consistent days off or scheduled home time may be arranged.

Drivers living within approximately 50–75 miles of Cambridge:

• Work in an on-call rotation with other drivers
• Consistent scheduled days off may be arranged
• May also have unscheduled home time throughout the week between loads

Drivers living more than 75 miles from Cambridge:

• Three weeks working followed by approximately six to seven days off
• Four or more weeks working followed by seven or more days off

Actual schedules may vary depending on workload, customer needs, and driver availability.

Position 2: CDL-A Yard Spotter

Pay: $25–$30 per hour
Hours: At least 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time

The yard spotter is responsible for preloading, moving, spotting, staging, and organizing customer ISO tanks and tanker equipment at the yard.

This position requires someone who can safely maneuver tractor-trailers in tight areas, properly load equipment, maintain an organized yard, and work independently.

Yard Spotter Responsibilities

• Preload and stage customer ISO tanks
• Move and spot tanker trailers throughout the yard
• Position equipment at loading, unloading, and staging areas
• Safely back and maneuver tractor-trailers in tight areas
• Maintain an organized and efficient trailer lineup
• Complete required equipment inspections
• Check tractors, trailers, and ISO tanks for visible damage or maintenance concerns
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and facility personnel
• Properly care for and maintain equipment
• Follow all company, customer, and facility safety procedures
• Assist with additional yard duties as needed

Requirements for Both Positions

• Valid Class A CDL
• Tanker endorsement required
• Minimum three years of CDL-A tanker experience
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required
• Ability to properly load and unload tanker equipment
• Willingness to work hard and follow all safety procedures
• Dependable attendance and communication
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Commitment to caring for and maintaining company equipment
• Desire to build a long-term career with the company
