Water/Wastewater Project Engineer
A growing engineering firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join its team and support a diverse range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take on greater project responsibility and work closely with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review engineering plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
Design water/wastewater and linear infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
Assist with project scopes, fee development, client communication, and project coordination.
Coordinate projects with local, state, and federal agencies and other stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineering and technical support staff.
Support permitting and regulatory requirements.
Projects may include water and wastewater treatment facilities, raw water intakes, water distribution systems, booster pump stations, lift stations, sanitary sewer systems, regional water planning, asset management, and system mapping.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
PE license
