Concrete Finisher

The Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, and curing concrete on Arizona construction projects. This role ensures concrete surfaces meet quality, safety, and specification requirements while complying with company policies, OSHA standards, and Arizona construction regulations. Responsibilities & Duties Place, level, smooth, and finish poured concrete using hand and power tools Screed, float, trowel, edge, and broom concrete surfaces to specified finish Set forms, grade sites, and assist with concrete placement as needed Apply curing and sealing compounds Monitor concrete during curing process to prevent defects Repair surface imperfections such as cracks, chips, and rough spots Read and follow blueprints, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions Maintain clean and safe work areas Perform daily equipment and tool inspections Requirements & Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Concrete finishing experience in commercial or civil construction Knowledge of concrete mix designs, finishing techniques, and curing methods Familiarity with OSHA construction safety standards (29 CFR 1926) Ability to read plans and jobsite elevations Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather, including extreme heat and sun exposure Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and wet concrete Overtime, weekends, and early start times may be required Safety & Compliance Required use of PPE at all times Must comply with company safety policies and procedures Subject to drug and alcohol testing per company policy and applicable law Temcon Concrete is an Equal Opportunity Employer offering a generous benefit package Competitive Wages On the job training PTO/Vacation Pay Holiday Pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
