Join Our Healthcare Team as a Speech Language Pathologist
Our organization is on the lookout for a committed Speech Language Pathologist to become a part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this position, you will evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing among elderly residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
Your role will involve close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to create tailored treatment plans, track patient progress, and offer education to both patients and their families. We foster a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere that prioritizes compassionate, patient-centered care while also providing avenues for professional advancement and clinical development.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Document patient progress and outcomes effectively.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and goals.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
This position is situated in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, where you will engage with senior residents and work alongside a dedicated healthcare team.
