ExperienceinMedication-AssistedTreatment(MAT)orwillingnesstoreceive training. CurrentCPR/BLS certification. Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelywithinamultidisciplinary team. Strongclinical,assessment,documentation,andcommunication skills. Commitment toevidence-basedpracticeandpatient-centered care. Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Conductcomprehensiveassessmentsofpatientswithsubstanceuse disorder Developand implement individualized treatmentplansthatincludemedication-assisted treatment Prescribeand managemedicationsforsubstanceusedisordersinaccordancewith established protocols Monitorpatientprogress,includingmedicationadherenceandresponseto treatment Delivercomprehensiveprimarycareservicestopatients,includingpreventivemedicine and managing of acute and chronic conditions Educateandcounselpatientson preventionstrategies andtreatment adherence Collaborate withlicensed counselors and support staff toensurecoordinated and integrated care Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentationintheelectronichealthrecord (EHR) Remain uptodatewithbest practicesand guidelinesinaddictionmedicineand primary care Performalldutiesinaprofessional and competentmanner,utilizing clinical expertise and sound medical judgment in patient care. Clinicaldecisionsshall be madeinaccordancewiththenursepractitioner'sbest medical judgment. The MedicalDirector orSupervising Physicianreserves theauthoritytodesignate patients for evaluation by the nurse practitioner. Adhere to all established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the Medical Director, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
