CNA – Community Home Care
Location: Union City, CA / East Bay
Pay: $23.00–$27.00/hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Hours: 20+ hours per week

Caregiver – Union City, CA
We are urgently hiring experienced and compassionate Caregivers to provide hands-on care to seniors in the Union City/East Bay area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping older adults maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence while receiving care in the community.
What You'll Do
- Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and peri-care
- Assist with transfers and mobility
- Safely operate a Hoyer lift
- Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Escort and accompany patients as needed
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Follow individualized care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with seniors or frail adults
- Current CNA or HHA certification required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required
- Hoyer lift experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Comfortable providing care in patients' homes
- Basic English communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
- Flexible availability based on patient needs
Bilingual skills are NOT required.
Schedule
Candidates must be able to commit to at least 20 hours per week .
Schedules may vary based on patient needs, with availability needed between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM , including some weekends and holidays.
