Certified Pharmacy Technician

job summary:
The Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in the seamless fulfillment of patient medication orders, ensuring every patient receives their necessary treatments accurately and on time. Operating within a dynamic central fill environment, this position focuses on safe medication dispensing, proactive inventory management, and strict adherence to patient safety protocols. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting and requires minimal supervision to execute daily tasks effectively.

salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
work hours:  Part-Time Monday 8AM-5PM, Tuesday-Thursday 10AM-3PM or 11:30AM-5PM, and Friday PRN.
education: High School Diploma 

 

responsibilities:
• Order Fulfillment: Assist with the accurate and timely processing and fulfillment of patient medication orders to ensure zero delays in treatment.
• Medication Dispensing: Dispense medications safely and efficiently under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations and Team Lead.
• Patient Safety & Compliance: Facilitate patient medication orders to actively support adherence to prescribed treatment plans while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
• Inventory Management: Monitor, organize, and manage pharmacy stock and inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Operational Agility: Provide general operational support across the pharmacy floor, adapting quickly to daily volume shifts.

qualifications:
• Current Texas pharmacy technician certification and relevant pharmacy technician experience.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively with minimal guidance or direction from management.
• Highly adaptable with the ability to maintain accuracy and focus in a high-volume, fast-paced pharmacy environment.
