Nurse Manager Anderson Mill Emergency Room

Introduction We are seeking a Manager of Emergency Services with St David's Emergency Center - Anderson Mill to promote growth and unlock possibilities. Job Summary and Responsibilities Ensure high‑quality, safe patient care by operationalizing evidence‑based practices and maintaining compliance with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Drive consistency and efficiency in clinical practice while fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Oversee patient flow, including admissions and discharges, to deliver efficient, patient‑centered care and optimal throughput. Lead and manage nursing practice and unit operations, ensuring appropriate staffing, competencies, and coordination of interdisciplinary care. Champion an exceptional patient experience by leveraging feedback, improving satisfaction, and supporting service recovery when needed. Develop and lead teams through coaching, engagement, and talent management to build a high‑performing workforce aligned with organizational values. Manage resources effectively, including staffing, scheduling, and expenses, while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and reduce costs. Qualifications Current Texas (RN) Registered Nurse license (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire if held under the Compact License). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – required. Master's Degree in Nursing – preferred. 1+ years of experience in healthcare – required. 1+ years of experience in leadership – preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 12 months of employment start date. NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 12 months of employment start date.
