GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for a wide variety of WAC purchasing department tasks, such as ordering food and non-food items, receiving deliveries, and filling requisitions for the kitchens and other departments. This role works closely with management and other team members on order fulfillment and smooth operations.

Receiving hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Applicants must be available to work shifts during these hours based on business needs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receive storeroom items, ensure product quality meets procurement standards, conduct quantity checks, and fulfill requisitions

· Place orders for various items as directed by supervisors and assist with monthly inventory reporting

· Handle UPS/USPS shipping and billing, and process departmental requisitions accurately and promptly

· Assist with internal mail delivery and operate mail meter for outgoing postage

· Monitor Outlook and Microsoft Teams for efficient communication with departments and vendors

· Review, code, approve, and forward invoices to accounting for payment

· Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

· A minimum of one (1) year of successful hospitality industry experience

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.

PAY INFORMATION

· Pay: $30/hour
