Banner Medical Group – Service Line Medical Director of Anesthesiology Banner Medical Group in Gilbert & Mesa, Arizona seeks an exceptional Service Line Medical Director of Anesthesiology to lead anesthesia services across our distinguished East Valley facilities: Banner Gateway Medical Center (Gilbert), Banner Desert Medical Center, Banner Children’s at Desert Medical Center, and Banner Heart Hospital (Mesa). About Our Facilities Banner Gateway Medical Center – 286‑bed, fully staffed anesthesia team of 24 anesthesiologists and 19 CRNAs, supporting ORs, endoscopy, interventional radiology, labor and delivery, with a 3:1 CRNA ratio. Banner Desert Medical Center – Level I trauma center, 669 beds, 248 pediatric beds, top-ranked and providing high‑acuity care across multiple specialties. Banner Children’s at Desert Medical Center – Level II pediatric trauma center, providing coverage in ORs, endoscopy, cardiac cath lab, outpatient treatment, and imaging. Banner Heart Hospital – Large free‑standing heart hospital with hybrid ORs, CVOR, cath and electrophysiology suites, and advanced structural heart programs. Leadership Opportunity As Service Line Medical Director, responsibilities include: Provide strategic oversight for anesthesia services across multiple facilities. Lead the Pediatric Anesthesia Division at Banner Children’s at Desert. Direct cardiac anesthesia operations at Banner Heart Hospital. Oversee anesthesia for Level I trauma care at Banner Desert Medical Center. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and top specialists to shape the future of anesthesiology care. Qualifications Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Anesthesiologist. Unrestricted Arizona license or ability to obtain one. Ability to obtain Arizona DEA license.
