Job Description: CDL Driver Class A

Reports to: Operations Manager

Essential Functions:

• On time deliveries, pre- and post-trip inspections, responsible transporting of materials and equipment being transported to locations or job sites.
• Keeping your vehicle clean and ensuring maintenance.
• Maintain up to date medical card.
• Drive a company vehicle while on duty in a legal, safe and professional manner.
• Be responsible for loading, securing and unloading equipment.
• Be responsible for complying with all DOT laws.
• Be responsible for verifying loads for accuracy.
• Be responsible for reporting any defects or deficiencies with truck or trailer or load to their direct supervisor immediately and prior to leaving shop/location.
• Be responsible for logging all hours on duty, driving and off duty legally.
• Be responsible for your role in the PO policy Process.
• Perform tasks in teams and as solo.
• Present yourself and represent Titan in a professional manner.
• Be responsible for maintaining appropriate work relationships.
• Be responsible for following all company policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for helping in other divisions and other tasks from time to time as needed.
• Run trash dumpster to landfill when needed.
• Wash and patch containment when CDL duties are not needed.
• Deliver equipment and material to pad for full site jobs and stay to help as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of DOT regulations
• Load Securement
• Ability to load and unload equipment such as manlifts, loaders, telehandlers
• Ability to drive a Company Vehicle in a legal, safe and professional manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and customers.
• Basic math skills required
• Knowledge of FMCSA policies

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.

Job Experience: 2+ yrs. driving experience, 1+ yrs. load securement experience

Computer Proficiency: Ability to utilize timekeeping system, smart phone, and some computer skills

Training: CLASS A CDL, Current Medical Card

Working Conditions:

• Physical Requirements: Long periods of driving, standing, crouching, lifting and bending
• Capability of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Capability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/wind/rain/snow.
• Must pass pre-employment fit test

Travel Requirements: May be required out of town/state. Travel up to 25% of time.

Starting Pay: $29.00 per hour. Competitive Benefits Package, Paid Holidays and Vacation Days.
