Compliance Specialist

Location: Dublin, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday / Day Shift


Pay: $21.00/ hour


Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. Develop and establish a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by supporting Recruiting and Terminal Safety Teams so ensure their drivers are DOT compliant.


Key Responsibilities

• Review all MVR's on current drivers to be sure we are DOT Compliant. Quickly monitor changes to licenses and determine appropriate action.

• Manage DOT Drug Testing program and Random assigned testing and results.

• Work with terminals to obtain updated copies of License, Registrations and Physicals.

• Support the recruitment team with driver's qualifications questions.

• Coordinate contracting, on boarding, and termination process of Independent Contractors and Employee Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators.

• Reviews driver provided Insurance to ensure it meets our requirements. Escalates any that require review.

• DOT Carrier Compliance for Motor Carriers including initial qualification.

• Collection of 2290's for all IFTA and IRP Renewals

• Gathers documents and submits Plate Request paperwork. Manages Plate Transfers, inventory, and billing.

• Yearly DOT requirement execution- MVRs, DACH

• Monthly Drug and Alcohol Permit Load Reporting

• Completes Employment Verification Requests

• Maintains UIIA Database entries and ensures compliance.

Technical Competencies

• Basic Computer Skills -

• Basic user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such Excel and Word.

• Accurately inputs information into and retrieves from the computer.

• Quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed.

• Other Technical / Computer Skills -

• Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit

• Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications.

• Phone Skills Required
