We have an immediate opening for an HVAC Maintenance Technician for our Lebanon, Ohio facility!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in maintaining HVAC and heating systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Assist in maintaining refrigeration systems, medium and low temperatures.
• Proactively identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Skilled in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems to maintain appropriate air quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve heating and cooling issues with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve relative humidity issues with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot electric motors, motor starters, proximity sensors, solenoids, temperature controllers, etc.
• Execute emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Comply with service standards, work instructions and production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and with OSHA regulations.
• Manage HVAC contractors.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, operators and other site specialists.
• Follow all GMP & Safety rules and regulations.
• Follow all Sanitation, Food Safety and Quality Procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
• Electrical knowledge including low voltage AC/DC
• EPA Universal Certification, required
• Completed Journeyman Apprenticeship Program, required
• Journeyman License, preferred
• Working knowledge of boiler systems, preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in reading schematics
• Ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays on short notice
• Five (5) + years of experience in HVAC maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with food industry experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of preventative maintenance programs, as well as proactive measures for maintenance needs.
