This role is eligible for sign on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified applicants. Schedule/Hours : Full Time Day Shift (7a-7p) with weekend rotations. Inova Fair Oaks Emergency Room is a 34-bed emergency services facility recently renovated and expanded to serve patients, both adult and pediatric, more efficiently. Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Experienced behavioral health nurses and Overflow unit assist the team in caring for non-emergency patients
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• License: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through American Heart Association required
• Other : Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience : Two years ED experience
