Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and program CNC mills
- Write and edit CNC programs using G & M code on Fanuc controls
- Program using CAM software such as Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 (preferred)
- Operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment (including Haas, Fadal, and Mori Seiki or similar machines)
- Machine parts to tight tolerances, with an emphasis on stainless steel materials
- Calculate and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal machining performance
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
- Maintain strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
- Apply best practices in precision machining
What You Bring
- 4+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment
- Strong proficiency with CNC mills
- Solid knowledge of G & M code programming (Fanuc or similar controls)
- Experience with CAM software such as Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 preferred
- Experience operating a variety of CNC machines
- Familiarity with machining stainless steels, including speeds and feeds calculations
- Manual machining experience is a plus, but not required
