Job Description Job Description Staff Accountant Full-Time | ~$60,000/year | Construction Industry About the Role For 20 years, we've built a reputation as a trusted name in construction — known for quality work, long-standing client relationships, and a strong presence in the local industry. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, job costing, and billing, working closely with ownership, our outside CPA firm, project managers, and clients' banks. Must-Haves Construction industry accounting experience Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Experience with job cost accounting and WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting Responsibilities Perform daily data entry and maintain records in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Maintain job cost accounting and prepare WIP reports Partner with Project Managers on client billing and invoicing Coordinate with clients and client banks on draws, payments, and lien waivers Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts Support month-end/year-end close and work directly with our outside CPA firm Assist ownership with financial reporting as needed Skills 2-3+ years of general accounting experience Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail Comfortable communicating with PMs, clients, banks, and CPAs Benefits 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) #J-18808-Ljbffr DHM Construction Services LLC
