Philanthropy Officer (Olympia)

The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) will report to the executive director, and will be responsible for procuring major gifts for both current and future gifts for the foundations department for the Providence Southwest Service Area. This individual will be responsible for special initiatives that contribute to strategic development of the region's long-term plan and campaign activities. The primary focus of this position is external, as a field officer, involving the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors through current gifts and multi-year pledge commitments.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
