As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by monitoring access points, screening personnel and materials, conducting routine patrols, and helping to deter incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items and/or activity as directed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and maintain accurate screening and incident records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
