Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cyber Security, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems. This is an onsite position at Raytheon in Portsmouth, RI.What You Will DoInteract with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectivenessDevelop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plansEnsure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controlsConsult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issuesSupport the development of bids and proposalsDefine security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software componentIntegrate cybersecurity development activitiesDevelop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystemUnderstanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policiesProvide technical leadership and direction for System Security Engineering and cybersecurity activities across the program lifecycleEvaluate system architecture, hardware, software, interfaces, and proposed design changes for cybersecurity impacts and recommend appropriate security requirements and risk mitigationsCoordinate cybersecurity activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams and serve as a technical interface for cybersecurity matters with customers, program leadership, subcontractors, and other stakeholdersIdentify, communicate, and manage cybersecurity technical risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities throughout program executionQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
