Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate - Elgin, IL 60123Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 Hourly The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the full scope of human resources functions at A-TEC Ambulance, Inc., including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, maintaining employee records & benefits administration. This role ensures workforce readiness and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced EMS environment while promoting a positive and professional workplace culture for current and future employees. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities Organizational and time management skills Confidentiality and professional discretion Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of HR experience required Experience in healthcare, EMS, or public safety environment strongly preferred Experience with multi-site or shift-based workforce preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr A-TEC Ambulance, Inc.
