Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain distributed storage system softwareDevelop and enhance high-availability clustering solutionsDrive system integration across storage, networking, and OS layersDebug complex issues across software, OS, networking, and hardwareDevelop automation and configuration management toolingIntegrate APIs and management interfacesSupport containerized and virtualized deploymentsAssist support team in root causing customer issues and come up with appropriate fixes.Required SkillsLinux systems expertise (systemd, RHEL/Rocky, debugging)Building and integrating 3rd party and vendor kernel modules with OS.Storage: MD, RAID, ZFS, XFS, ext4, block vs object storageHigh Availability: Pacemaker/CorosyncProgramming: C/C++, plus Go/Python/Bash scriptingNetworking: TCP/IP, Ethernet, IB, RDMA/RoCEHardware: SAS, SCSI, NVMe, HBAsAPIs: REST/ gRPC, Redfish/SwordfishContainerization/Virtualization: Docker/Podman, KVM/VMwareQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field4–6+ years of relevant systems or storage development experienceProven delivery of distributed systems or storage platformsStrong cross-domain expertise across storage, OS, networking, and hardwareExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsAccessibilityHPE is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities.
