Network Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Architect with 9+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud, and on-premises network environments. This senior individual contributor role focuses on application delivery, network reliability, automation, and cloud networking rather than traditional routing and switching. The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer with expertise in troubleshooting complex environments, building automation, and leading technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise network architecture across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Manage application delivery using DNS, GSLB, load balancing, and high-availability solutions.
• Automate network operations using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and GitOps.
• Troubleshoot complex Layer 3–7 network and application issues using Wireshark and HAR analysis.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code, secrets management, and operational automation.
• Lead cross-functional projects, mentor engineers, and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate as a secondary on-call escalation resource.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of enterprise hybrid/multi-cloud networking experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, GSLB, ECMP, VRRP/HSRP, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and cloud networking.
• Experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Linux, HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, and AWS Secrets Manager.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking (EKS, AKS, OpenShift).
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile and ITSM environments.

Preferred Skills

• F5 BIG-IP or other ADC platforms.
• NGINX/NGINX Plus.
• Zscaler or similar cloud security solutions.
• Experience in regulated industries.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools.
