Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position located in Anchorage, Alaska. This assignment involves performing a variety of general and vascular ultrasound examinations across all age groups, including neonates, children, and adults. The role requires supporting a busy acute hospital environment with a focus on general and vascular imaging, providing critical diagnostic services to diverse patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 5 days per week, from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in BLS, ARDMS in general and vascular specialties, with a minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience. First-time travelers accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and additional vascular technology certifications are preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be registered sonographers in general and vascular ultrasound. Open to accommodating block schedules and working some weekends with on-call requirements. Candidates must hold a valid state license or be pending license approval. All applicants should have at least one year of relevant ultrasound experience and be willing to work holidays as needed. Traveler must be at least 50 miles from the facility. References required: two references covering one year within the last three years. All documentation must include scan certifications, and recent job experience, ideally with Epic charting system familiarity.
