Good Life Acupuncture & Herbs is seeking a part time licensed massage therapist to help meet the needs of our growing patient population.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in people's lives and thrive in a team-oriented setting. Our patients come with a variety of challenges from musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain to needing stress relief and body maintenance. It is important to be able to adjust to the needs of each patient.
The applicant must be punctual, organized and personable with a desire to continue learning. Having skills in a variety of massage styles and in the use of tools such as cups, hot stones or scraping tools is ideal. Other skills that are desired include craniosacral, intraoral, lymph drainage, sports massage, deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release, ART, and table Thai massage.
Credentialing with some of the insurance companies in our area necessary. We will assist with insurance credentialing as needed. You can see clients as this process is getting under way.
This is an employee position.
Seeking a therapist to work 1-2 days to start with great potential to grow.
Requirements:
- Valid Washington state Licensed massage therapist
- Exceptional patient service skills, including effective communication and empathy.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' needs through thorough evaluations and in collaboration with other practitioners.
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other practitioners on treatment approach as needed.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time, 1-2 days to start
